DARLINGTON will make the short trip to Marske United in the third qualifying round of the FA Cup if they win their second qualifying round replay at Chester tomorrow.
Today’s draw has set up the possibility of an intriguing all North-East tie, with Marske having achieved one of the results of the weekend on Saturday as they booked their place in the third qualifying round with a 3-0 win over South Shields.
Darlington played out a goalless draw with Chester at Blackwell Meadows, so head to the Deva Stadium tomorrow for a replay.
Spennymoor Town are also in replay action tomorrow night after drawing 1-1 with National League North leaders AFC Fylde at the weekend. The winners of that tie will host either Chorley or Southport in the third qualifying round.
One local derby is already guaranteed in the third qualifying round, with York City hosting Whitby Town at the LNER Community Stadium.
FA Cup third qualifying round ties: Radcliffe v Morpeth Town, Marske United v Darlington or Chester, Runcorn Linnets v Gateshead, York City v Whitby Town, Guiseley v Blyth Spartans or FC United, AFC Fylde or Spennymoor v Chorley or Southport
