Chingford Mount Road looking south around c1905 at the junction of Albert Corner tramway terminus.
Trams continued in Chingford until the mid-1930s when they were replaced by trolleybuses.
The wooden signpost in the foreground sits on the corner of New Road opposite the Albert Pub.
How the road looks today
Plenty of green space can be seen before the area is developed in the 1920s.
