A man was found not guilty of wounding a woman with intent.
Liam Tuohy, 22, of Gravel Close, in Chigwell, was alleged to have attacked a 48-year-old woman near the Budgens store on the Limes Farm Estate in the early hours of Saturday (August 29).
He was charged with wounding with intent and on May 4 2010 at Chelmsford Crown Court was found not guilty.
The woman was taken to Queen’s Hospital, in Romford, with serious injuries.
