JUNIOR CRICKET
AT the age of 11, Richard Horswill is snapping up wickets as a pace bowler with the adult Willingale village cricket team.
The lofty youngster, who lives at Ongar, has just celebrated one of his best performances of the season taking five wickets for 35 runs in a 12-over spell of bowling.
Playing for Willingale, against Springfield, he clean-bowled four batsmen and snapped up his fifth wicket with an lbw decision.
He has already been talent spotted by Essex and for the past three years has been part of the county’s youth development squad of talented and gifted youngsters.
