TENANT satisfaction questionnaires have been sent out to 1,500 Harlow Council tenants asking for their views on the services that Harlow Council provides for them as their landlord.

The sample has been randomly selected from the Council’s tenants’ database by BMG, the research company selected to carry out the survey on behalf of Harlow Council.

It is a Government requirement that local councils with a housing stock carry out a Customer Satisfaction Survey every two years. The questions are prescribed by the Government, so the same questions will be asked of tenants all over the country. The questionnaire should be completed by the tenant or their spouse/partner or carer Tenants’ responses are an important way of measuring how satisfied council tenants are with their landlord.

Harlow Council leader Andrew Johnson said: “We would be grateful if tenants could set aside a few minutes to complete the questionnaire. Information given when completing the questions is completely confidential and will be used for statistical purposes only."

To thank tenants for completing the questionnaire, their name will be automatically entered into a draw to win £200.

A pre-paid envelope is enclosed with the questionnaire so it can be returned to BMG, at no cost to tenants. The completed questionnaire should be returned to BMG as soon as possible or by October 20.

Any tenant with questions about the questionnaire or who would like help in completing the questionnaire can contact Lys Coleman at BMG Research on 0121 333 6006 who will be happy to call them back.
