THE girls of the Forest School under-11 netball squad are brimming with confidence ahead of their Easter tour of Jersey after capturing a tournament trophy.
After coming second in last year's competition the girls from the school in College Place, Walthamstow, won all their games to emerge as champions at the Rickmansworth Royal Masonic Schools' invitation netball tournament.
Forest PE teacher Margaret Jones said: "Now they have a taste for trophies we expect them to come back with one or two more. Really they have done very well and the Bancroft's tournament later this month will keep them sharp." They will be joined on their island tour by Forest's under-ten team who just missed out on the top spot in their competition year group.
