A MOTORCYCLIST was seriously injured in a road crash.
Police say a 28-year-old man was riding a red and white Honda 600 down Coppice Row, in Theydon Bois when he collided with a red Skoda Roomster about 500 metres from the junction with the Wake Arms roundabout.
The victim, from Woodford Green, was air-lifted to the Royal London Hospital with head and leg injuries.
The driver of the car, a 58-year-old woman from Chingford, was uninjured.
Coppice Row has seen a number of accidents over the years. In June 2007 a motorcyclist was taken to hospital with severe leg injuries after a four vehicle collision there.
