UNSUNG community heroes are being sought for a special awards ceremony.
Waltham Forest Council is looking to honour people who go beyond the call of duty to improve the borough, as part of its "Love Your Borough" awards. Residents are invited to nominate their local heroes by May 10.
There are ten award categories, covering different areas of community life such as making the local area better or safer, or improving the borough’s cultural life.
