FURTHER gas works are due to take place in Highams Park later this month.
At the end of July, the crossing at Highams Park Railway Station was closed to traffic for six weeks while gas works were carried out on The Avenue and Larkshall Road.
Following completion earlier this month, National Grid have confirmed they are planning further gas works along 600 meters of Hale End Road.
A start date has not yet been finalised by engineers but it is likely to take place at the end of September for 12 weeks.
A two-way traffic light system will be put in place to ease traffic.
