ESSEX Police have promised extra police on the streets and diversionary activities for this Halloween weekend.
There will be extra police patrols in Epping Ongar and Waltham Abbey and crime reduction officer Tony Ellis will be out and about in the district offering reassurance and advice to residents.

In Loughton a wide-range of activities have been organised to give young people something to do at Halloween.
There will be BMX ramps, ice skating, a football tournament, and beauty and relaxation classes on offer.
The main attraction will be a Halloween ball to take place at The Academy, in Langston Road, Loughton.
