HALLOWEEN fun was enjoyed by young and old at parties across the district.
Youngsters at Queens Pre-School, in Queens Road, Buckhurst Hill, took part in pass the parcel and apple bobbing and had their own fashion parade to showcase their fancy dress.
Deputy manager Trinia Shoat said: “It was absolutely fantastic, all the children had lots of fun and we had a lot of parents who came as well.”
Over at Kids Inc, in Old Station Road, Loughton, there were similarly spooky goings on at the Ugly Bugs Ball, with a fancy dress competition and party with music and dancing.
Deputy manager Ria Tookey said: “It went really well and all the children had a really good time."
And proving that Halloween is not only for the youngsters, residents at Paternoster House care home, in Paternoster Hill, Waltham Abbey, also got into the spirit of things with dressing up fun and entertainment.
