A BESTSELLING author will talk about her debut crime novel at a local library next week.
Constance Briscoe, a London lawyer who is best known for her childhood memoir Ugly, will introduce her first crime novel, The Accused, at Wanstead Library next Friday, October 7.
She will speak to an audience as part of the East London Libraries Festival. Tickets cost £5 and the talk will begin at 7.15pm at the library in Spratt Hall Road. Please call 020 8708 7400 for details.
