POLICE will run a safety awareness stall in a busy high street next week.

Officers will be on hand to give out leaflets and advice to people on any personal safety issues in Epping High Street on Monday, October 24.

These include events including Halloween, Bonfire Night and Christmas as well as burglary, theft and other scams run by criminals.

Essex Watch administrator Colin Freeman said: “If you run a club or organisation such as a Youth Group, Senior Citizens Club, Rotary, Inner Wheel, Round Table, WI or any other community based organisation, I am happy to give free talks and audio visual presentations.

“I can also provide information on the value of joining the Neighbourhood Watch and the benefits that stem from free membership of this important voluntary organisation.

"I look forward to seeing you there."

For further information please contact Colin Freeman on 01279 621862. The stall will be open between 9am and 1pm.
