Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen has signed a new long-term deal with the Gunners.
The 25-year-old joined Arsenal in 2009 and was named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Season after an impressive debut campaign.
Unfortunately for the Belgium captain his time at the Emirates has been blighted by injury and he has only made four appearances this season.
