POLICE have launched a new messaging service to provide the public with local news and information.
The Neighbourhood Link service started earlier this week.
Those signing up to the will receive regular text and email messages about crime and safety in Redbridge.
There will also be updates from local Safer Neighbourhood Teams.
Speaking after the service was launched, Borough Commander Sue Williams, said: “Feedback from other boroughs using Neighbourhood Link has been extremely positive and I would encourage anyone living, working or visiting Redbridge to sign up.”
