TWO members of a synagogue were chosen to be ‘bride and groom’ to celebrate the end of the festival of Sukkot.
Chairman of the Woodford Liberal Synagogue Bob Kamall and his wife Di were chosen for the special role for being helpful and loyal members of the congregation in Marlborough Road, South Woodford.
They both read from the Torah and recited blessings as part of the ceremony of Simchat Torah.
The occasion marks the end of Sukkot, a seven day festival which celebrates the harvest.
