Calling all theatre fanatics - you can now get paid to watch and review London West End shows. 

The leading theatre tickets platform SeatPlan is on the look out for a Theatre show and seat critic and it could be you!

The lucky candidate will be paid to watch and review up to four West End shows a month in some of the best seats available in London's top theatres.

Whether you can't stop humming Hamilton or you go wild for Waitress, here's everything you need to know about applying for this dream job.

SeatPlan's theatre critic role

SeatPlan is looking for a "theatre fanatic with a strong understanding of what makes a great show".

This dream opportunity involves watching and reviewing up to four West End shows a month.

You will need to rate and photograph the show's seating options to help SeatPlan keep their website up to date on the best places to sit in London’s theatres.

SeatPlan is looking for candidates that are:

  • UK residents aged 18 or over and based in London
  • Available to regularly attend shows around the city
  • Passionate for all types of theatrical performances (plays, musicals etc.)
  • Talented writers with an engaging style
  • Excellent at note-taking and have a good eye for detail 
  • Knowledgeable about what makes a great show. An additional understanding of what will appeal to a wide audience is also a big advantage, SeatPlan says

If you're successful, you will be able to review up to four shows a month and will be paid £50 per review.
