AUSTRALIAN writer and broadcaster Clive James has died at the age of 80.
He was known around the world for his dry wit.
Diagnosed with leukaemia in 2010, the TV critic had movingly written about his terminal illness during the final years of his life.
His agent said he had died at his home in Cambridge.
