Ben Green showed promise at the Michelin Ginetta GT4 SuperCup test event held last week.

Green gained four first places and a second from five sessions through the day.

In the first session the Waltham Abbey racer finished in 1:57.397 with George Gamble and Callum Pointon completing the top three.

The second session saw Green slip to second with Pointon taking the top spot. Declan Jones was third as he pipped Gamble.

But the 19-year-old dominated thereafter, storming home first ahead of the rest of the pack in the final three sessions.

These results also gave Green a timely boost ahead of the Snetterton race weekend on July 29 and 30.

Gamble and Pointon still remain Green’s title rivals.
