Leyton Orient have come to an agreement over a number of outstanding regulatory and disciplinary matters relating to the clubs previous owners.

The club released a statement stating that a “mutually acceptable conclusion” had been reached with the EFL over the issues.

Chairman Nigel Travis revealed his pleasure that the problems had been put behind the club.

He said: “The EFL provided important guidance to the current ownership group on the purchase of the Club.

“We are very grateful to the EFL for their assistance and pragmatic view on the issues our Club faced over the last few seasons.

“We are delighted that any negative issues are now behind us, so we can focus on our season ahead without any distractions."

“Having completed the FA's Owners' and Directors' Test upon buying the Club, we fully understand the importance of the EFL's test and the way in which they oversee owners of clubs.”
