Leyton Orient have agreed a permanent deal with Josh Coulson, keeping the defender at the club for the next two-and-a half years.
Having joined the Brisbane Road outfit on loan in July, Coulson had quickly gone on to establish himself as an integral part of the Orient defence.
The 28-year-old’s experience was an important factor in the decision to bring him to the O’s in the first place and he joined on the back of a 10-year stint at Cambridge United.
He made over 300 appearances for United after making his debut in 2007 and was a well-thought of member of the club’s squad.
The centre-back has made 16 outings since making the switch to east London, scoring two goals.
