Leyton Orient have suffered an injury blow ahead of tomorrow’s FA Trophy third round trip to Dover Athletic after it was confirmed James Dayton needs surgery on his hamstring.
The midfielder was injured in the latter stages of the first half of the 3-2 home defeat to Aldershot Town and following a scan, it was decided the 29-year-old will require an operation.
This means Dayton is set to miss the remainder of the season as the O’s have stated the recovery time is 12 weeks.
