Another soggy Saturday meant just four of the nine scheduled West Herts League matches were played.

The only Premier Division game to survive saw Croxley Community triumph 6-0 at basement side Caddington to move into second spot in the table.

Harry Brock, Michael East and Robbie Martin all scored two apiece for the visitors.

There was a goal fest in Division One as Hemel Hempstead Rovers Reserves ran out 8-4 winners against Oxhey Academy, although the game had been tight in the first half.

Kenny Harrington led the way with a hat-trick for Hemel, who also had Rhys Stonebank (2), Michael McGill and Dan Perry on target. Akeem Adam, David Baxter, Greg Taylor and Leo Vaughan replied for Oxhey.

Tring Athletic A travelled to Langleybury Cricket Club for the second week running, this time in Pool B of the West Herts Senior Charity Cup, and again the outcome was a draw.

George Hill and Andy Humphreys were on target for Tring in the 2-2 draw, with Matt Goodman and Ollie Ilott scoring for the home side.

There was also a 2-2 draw in Pool A of the Junior Cup as Harpenden Rovers Reserves entertained Tring Town.

The visitors were 2-0 up at the break, with both goals coming from Ryan Shefras. But Tring then took their foot off the pedal and Harpenden were able to battle back and score an equaliser in the closing stages, with Matt Baizer and Zen Cropper getting their goals.
