Injured defender Tommie Hoban has the full support of Watford, according to head coach Javi Gracia.
The 25-year-old damaged his cruciate ligament while playing on loan at Aberdeen, adding to a long list of setbacks, including a dislocated shoulder, a damaged Achilles and another cruciate injury during his career.
Gracia said the club will help him with his recovery as much as they can.
He said: "I’m very sorry for him because he spent with us the beginning of the season and he has always been, and is, a very good professional with a great attitude.
"Now it’s a very difficult moment for him, but we will be here to try to help him, to try to support him, to help in all the things we can do.
"It’s something that sometimes happens and you have to be ready for that and try to manage well. The player knows we are here to help him recover."
