ARSENAL are reported to be lining up a bid for French prodigy Clement Grenier.

The 17-year-old Lyon forward has been dubbed the new Kaka' in France, and reports suggest Arsenal are interested.

Grenier is yet to sign a professional contract with the French champions, and this has alerted Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.

However, a source close to the player insists Lyon have issued a hands-off warning to the French manager.

Speaking to The Sun, the source said: "Wenger is very impressed but Lyon told him to forget it.

"They want him to stay here a few years as they expect to be able to get a huge transfer fee for him."
