It was an impressive display from Waltham Forest Ladies Firsts as they completed a 4-1 victory against local rivals Crostyx Ladies Firsts.

After Crostyx took an early lead in the contest Forest were quickly back on level terms when a short corner was dispatched by Liz Evans.

The second arrived shortly after when Waltham gained another short corner, which was cleared to Mandy Briggs. She coolly slotted the ball to Evans who fired into the bottom corner to score her and Forest's second.

In the second half Forest continued to dominate the contest and added a third when Susie Hunt calmly finished from close range after good work from Hannah Dobbin.

Forest rounded off the scoring when good build up play between Anna-Marie Perry and Hannah Dobbin, set up Hunt to score her second of the match and complete the victory.

Next up for Forest is a home match against Bromley and Beckenham next Saturday, which will test the side and show if they are ready for promotion push.
