Waltham Forest teenager Albie Philips has just started playing for Premiership champions Saracens’ youth academy.

The 16-year-old recently played for the Saracens youth team in their win over a Leicester side featuring the brother of England World Cup star Manu Tuilagi.

Philips is hoping to make a big impact at the Watford-based club and earn a professional contract when he turns 18.

The hot prospect, who is now on a strict nutritional diet and intensive training programme, is making full use of the facilities at Everyone Active Waltham Abbey Swimming Pool.

To help Philips achieve his goals, Everyone Active, who operate the leisure centre, are giving him free use of the gym and swimming pool.

He has also been receiving personal training from keen rugby player Ryan Jones.
