Hale End Athletic FC have been crowned Division Three West champions of the Greene King Essex Vets League.
The club secured the title following a 2-2 draw with Sanders FC – the only time the team have finished level all season.
An impressive record saw the club claim 14 victories, one draw and just three defeats, meaning the squad will keenly anticipate their upcoming Division Two campaign.
In the race for top scorer, Taju Oyedeji took the honours with a haul of 22, narrowly finishing ahead of Martin Treadway, who netted 20 times during the campaign.
