Leyton Orient’s clash against Boreham Wood in December will be televised on BT Sport.

The match at Meadow Park will still be played on Saturday, December 8, but kick-off will now take place at 12:35pm rather than 3:00pm.

It will be the second time that Orient will play in front of the BT camera’s this season, after their 1-1 draw with Salford City was shown live on TV on the opening day of the campaign.

On that day the O’s claimed a deserved point late on when Liam Hogan’s own goal cancelled out Rory Gaffney’s opener to earn Orient a 1-1 draw.

Orient will be hoping for better fortunes at Meadow Park this time around, having lost 2-0 in Hertfordshire last season thanks to goals from Danny Woodards and Keiran Murtagh.

The East London side did, however, claim the bragging rights over Boreham Wood earlier this campaign, as Macauley Bonne’s second half penalty secured the O’s a 1-0 win in a tight game at the Breyer Group Stadium in August.

Orient have kicked on from that result and currently sit in third place in the table, while Wood, managed by Luke Garrard, have been unable to replicate the form which saw them reach the Play Off final last season, leaving them in 11th place.
