Leyton Orient have appointed Michael Cooper as the club’s head of physical performance.
Cooper, a graduate of Loughborough University, worked alongside current Orient director of football Martin Ling and interim head coach Ross Embleton while in a role as the first team sports scientist at Swindon Town between 2012 and 2017.
He joined Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur as academy physical development coach before joining the O’s as they continue preparations for the 2019/20 season.
