Leyton Orient under-18s recorded their first win of the season on the Youth Alliance League as the beat MK Dons 2-1 at Old Chigwellians Training Ground.
Jordan Adeyemi and Finlay Lovatt notched the goals for Orient to put them two ahead before the Dons pulled one back in the second half.
It took the O’s just eight minutes to find the net as some excellent one-touch play between Jeremie Sivi and Antony Papadopulous released the latter down the wing and he cut back for Adeyemi to fire in from four yards.
With five minutes of the half remaining, the hosts doubled their lead when Bradley McCleneghan capitalised on a slip from one of the MK Dons defenders and squared for Lovatt to slot home.
MK pulled one back when a ball was played in behind the defence for the attacker to side-foot home, but that was all they could muster in response and the O’s held on for the win.
