Northampton Town will pay tribute to Justin Edinburgh when Leyton Orient visit the PTS Academy Stadium in their League Two fixture this weekend.

Edinburgh was in charge at Orient when he passed away in June but he also spent time with the Cobblers in 2017, taking over from Rob Page.

Tributes will include a pre-match period of applause, a bucket collection to support the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation and a series of programme articles celebrating Edinburgh’s life, while his picture will also be the cover of the match programme.

In addition to the tributes that will be held, players and some members of staff from Northampton visited the East Midlands Ambulance Service Trust to learn how to give life-saving CPR ahead of both the fixture against Orient and World Re-Start a Heart day later this month.

One of the aims of the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation is to campaign for defibrillators to be equipped in all gyms and health facilities, and Cobblers players were also instructed on how to use the machines.

The club also say that an instruction video based on the session will be produced in due course.
