Leyton Orient midfielder George Marsh has had his loan deal at the club from Tottenham Hotspur extended until the end of the season.
Marsh's initial six-month deal at the start of the campaign was due to expire in this window, but the two clubs have agreed for the 21-year-old to remain with the O's.
Speaking to the club website, interim head coach Ross Embleton said: “I’m absolutely delighted that he has signed for the rest of the season. It’s fantastic for us as a Club and for George and his development.
"He came out here on his first loan and has played a lot of football; it was a slow start, but I think he has really shown everyone here what he is about as a character, what he is about athletically and the quality he has got as a footballer.
"We’re delighted to have him. From our perspective, he is a good player that we can have again for the second half of the season.”
Marsh made his O's debut against Southend United in the Leasing.com Trophy and he has gone on to make 18 appearances for the club.
