Dale Gorman has joined Leyton Orient's League Two counterparts Newport County on loan for the rest of the season.
The 23-year-old will be unable to feature in the clash between Orient and County later this month, as part of the deal.
Newport, currently 15th in the table, hosts Scunthorpe United this weekend, and Gorman is eligible to play.
Speaking to the club website, Orient head coach Ross Embleton said of the move: “This is a fantastic opportunity for Gormo, who is a player I have really got on with during his time here. At this stage of his career and his contract, he needs to be playing football and it looks like Newport are going to give him time on the pitch. I wish him all the best.”
