New Leyton Orient signing Kazaiah Sterling says he is "grateful" to have the opportunity to play for the club.
The youngster signed on loan from Tottenham Hotspur on deadline day, returning to the club where he spent time as a youth player.
Speaking to the club website about the move, Sterling said: "I'm just excited. I'm grateful for the opportunity and I can't wait to get playing.
"I know George [Marsh]. We've grown up together. I know Ross [Embleton] as well, I've had him at Spurs so they'll help me settle in as well.
"This was my first club so I'm quite familiar with the stadium and I've got a lot of experience with Leyton Orient."
After making a handful of appearances for Spurs, Sterling has also spent time on loan at Sunderland and Doncaster Rovers in the Football League, and those have been valuable experiences for the 21-year-old.
He said: "Those have been good experiences for me, especially being away from home and learning different footballing styles.
"[I've learnt] how to adapt, not just in terms of football but in lifestyle, life habits, living away from home has been a good experience for me, it's helped me mature as a person and a player."
