Gator ABC recorded four wins out of five in their first events of the new season.

First up on Friday night, three Gator fighters were involved at Broad Street ABC’s event at the Troxy in Stepney.

Kenzie Cole recorded a win in his long-awaited comeback fight against Camberly’s Gillian Joseph, while Joe Gibbs’ skills got the better of Sky McNicholas from Epping.

Jonny Harrison was the unfortunate one to miss out on a win, going down to Eltham’s Billy Gleeb.

On Saturday, two of Gator’s boxers made the trip to Ely for the Haddenham & Ely Dinner Show.

Victor Fevier got off to a slow start against the host club’s Lewis Cowell, losing the first round. However, he soon got into his stride and used his long-reach advantage to land a flurry of quick uppercuts on his opponents in the second stanza.

The third round was there for the taking, and Fevier comfortably saw off Cowell to claim the win.

Meanwhile, Jamal Berleen also faced Hadenham & Ely opposition, taking on Tarek Khan.

Berleen initially struggled to get to grips with his opponent but managed to stay in the contest through the first two rounds before wrapping up the decision with a number of eye-catching blows in the third round, putting the decision beyond any doubt.
