ARSENAL boss Arsene Wenger is getting set to unleash another one of the clubs talented teenagers on the Premier League.

While Gunners have been left scratching their heads at the lack of transfer activity at the Emirates Stadium this summer, Wenger feels that Mexican Carlos Vela can be a huge hit.

The 19-year-old joined the club in 2005 but has been on loan to Salamanca and Osasuna in recent times, to gain experience, while he waited to be granted a work permit with the north Londoners.

And having returned to the club this summer the U17 World Cup golden boot winner made an impressive first competitive appearance for the Gunners against Newcastle on Saturday after coming off the bench for the last half an hour.

And while Wenger allowed ten players to leave the club this summer, while only bringing in Samir Nasri and Mikael Silvestre, believes returning Mexican Vela will be a huge hit.

“Yes, he looks like another one for the future,” the Frenchman told the Sun.

"He was born in 1989 and when you look at these players and what they can do at that age, I think it is very positive for the future of the club."
