ROBBIE KEANE has backed former Spurs striker Dimitar Berbatov for moving to Manchester United.
Berbatov finally sealed his dream move to Old Trafford on deadline day after a summer-long, on-off saga surrounding the transfer.
And former strike partner Keane - who himself sealed a move from the north Londoners to Liverpool this summer - believes the 27-year-old has made the right decision to move to the Premier League champions.
"It's a fantastic move for him, but it's a massive one for Manchester United because he is a top, top player," Keane told Sky Sports News.
"I have seen that at first hand and he will be a massive addition to their squad.
"I am sure Berba wants to be a better player and he wants to win things, and I think that's the reason he went to Manchester United."
