Javier Hernandez could be sidelined for West Ham's Emirates FA Cup third-round replay against Shrewsbury Town tomorrow.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward was sent home from West Ham's training ground on Monday with the flu.

Andy Carroll (ankle), Michail Antonio (groin), Jose Fonte (calf), Edimilson Fernandes (ankle) and Winston Reid (groin) are all out.

West Ham have edged towards safety after four unbeaten games in the Premier League, but David Moyes is still expected to rest a number of key players for the visit of the Shrews.

"We are pleased to get out of the first game with a draw because we didn't play well enough," assistant boss Alan Irvine said. "It is good for us to have the replay.

"Clearly we want to win Tuesday's game and progress in the FA Cup and it would be fantastic if we get a good run in the competition. We are not going into this game thinking 'we wish we were out of the Cup'.

"But having said that the priority is also clear. We have to stay in the Premier League. We are in a better position than we were going into the last game because of the recent results, but we are nowhere near where we need to be by the end of the season.

"The FA Cup is important to us, but the league is more important."

Provisional West Ham squad: Adrian, Hart, Masuaku, Cresswell, Collins, Zabaleta, Ogbonna, Kouyate, Rice, Noble, Obiang, Cullen, Burke, Quina, Lanzini, Arnautovic, Ayew, Hernandez.
