FORMER West Ham defender Slaven Bilic has moved quickly to quash speculation that he will succeed Alan Curbishley at West Ham, according to Setanta Sports.
Curbishley sensationally quit his post today, although Croatia boss despite being the red-hot favourite to take charge at his former club if the ex-Charlton boss lost his job with the Irons.
However Bilic, who was a fan-favourite during his playing career at Upton park in the mid-90's claims he is sticking with his job until after the World Cup in two years.
“It is true – I get calls from England all the time, just like before,” he said.
“But I can't say anything about West Ham United.
“Now that the game with England is getting closer, they will write more about me coming there.
“I signed new contract to coach Croatia and that's all I can say. I will continue my job as national team coach until end of World Cup 2010.”
