MEDIA reports claim that former Italy boss and early favourite Roberto Donadoni has already been interviewed for the vacant West Ham job.

The sun report that 44-year-old former AC Milan chief is reported to have been grilled for an hour by Hammers chairman Bjorgolfur Gudmundsson yesterday at Upton Park.

They also claim the ex-Hibernian manager John Collins was also interviewed, as the east Londoners look to move quickly to fill the void left by Alan Curbishley.

AC Milan legend Donadoni, 44, was followed in the interview room by ex-Everton midfielder and former Hibernian boss John Collins.

Donadoni was sacked after world champions Italy crashed out of Euro 2008, while Collins quit his post at Easter Road in December 2007.

He may not have the experience the West Ham board are looking for, although Donadoni is thought to be the early front-runner after a number of names including Croatia boss Slaven Bilic ruled themselves out.

It is still, however, thought that the Irons have several names on their shortlist, which was quickly drawn up following Curbishley's resignation on Wednesday.
