FORMER Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri is thought to be one of the names on West Ham's shortlist to fill the vacant managers post at Upton Park.
The 56-year-old Italian has vast managerial experience, having managed the likes of Napoli, Fiorentina, Valencia and Atletico Madrid. But it is thought that Ranieri's four year spell at Stamford Bridge could make him one of the favourites to land the job, having given him vital experience on managing in the Premier League.
If Hammers chairman Bjorgolfur Gudmundsson decides to go down that route, however he will have to stump up a compensation package, as the former Valencia and Parma chief is currently managing Seria A giants Juventus.
