Three men found guilty of grevious bodily harm are due to be sentenced today.

George Saitch, 27, and Bradley Lupton, 30, both of Aldridge Way in Chingford, and Charles Roberson, 19 of Richmond Crescent in Highams Park, were convicted of causing grievous bodily harm on October 27.

Saitch was also found guilty of assault by beating following a four-week trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court.

All three defendants were remanded in custody before appearing today.

The incident took place in the early hours of August 25 last year in Kings Road, Chingford.

21 year-old Jamie Flory was attacked by the three men, beaten and had his head stamped on, causing fractures to his eye socket, damage to his eye sight, and chipped teeth.

Mr Flory managed to briefly escape from the prolonged attack but was pursued by the suspects, who attacked him again.

Laura White, a friend of Mr Flory, tried to protect him and was assaulted by Saitch, suffering severe bruising to her head.

The men denied causing grevious bodily harm with intent, causing grevious bodily harm, and assault by beating.

Lupton and Roberson were both cleared of assault by beating.
