Police arrested six people on suspicion of burglary after an attempted break-in by a gang in Wanstead last week.
Police were called just after 4am on June 17 to a report of three men trying to break through the front door of a house in Gordon Road, Wanstead.
When police arrived at the scene, six suspects ran along Dangan Road and two were caught and arrested by police.
A search was then conducted with a dog unit for the remaining four suspects.
One man was found hiding in a garden shed, while the remaining four were arrested after attempting to flee Dangan Road in a car.
A 29 year old woman and five men aged 18, 18, 19, 21, 30 were arrested on suspicion of burglary and have been bailed to return to an east London police station at the end of June and the beginning of July.
