A man will appear at a Crown Court after allegedly beating up a man in a pub brawl.
Edward John Pengelly, 42, of Forest Road, Walthamstow was charged with causing Actual Bodily Harm (ABH) after being arrested outside the Lord Palmerston pub in Palmerston Road, Walthamstow on Sunday (May 17).
He was kept in police custody until his appearance at Thames Magistrates Court on Tuesday (May 19).
Mr Pengelly will now answer charges for actual bodily harm and an offence for assault by beating at Snaresbrook Crown Court on June 2.
The victim was hospitalised with what police described as a non-life threatening head injury.
No weapons were recovered from the scene.
