WALTHAMSTOW: Teenage boy in bike crash

A BOY has been taken to hospital after his pushbike was in a crash with a car.

The teenager was taken by air ambulance to the Royal London Hospital after the accident in Fulbourne Road, Walthamstow, just after 4pm.

The boy was suffering from leg injury and a slight head injury A HEMS air ambulance, an ambulance and a fast-responce car were all dispatched to the scene by London Ambulance Service.

Waltham Forest Police were also at the scene.

Cyclist Keith Foster was passing on his own pushbike when he saw the aftermath of the accident.

“There was a child’s BMX bike jumbled under the front bumper of the car,” he said.
