A WOMAN is fighting for her life after being hit by a car while crossing the road.
The accident, at 7.59am today, happened at the junction of Kings Road and Larkshall Road, in Chingford.
A stretch of Kings Road remains closed.
The woman was taken to the Royal London Hospital, in Whitechapel, by ambulance.
She is suffering from head injuries and is in a critical condition
