MAYOR of London, Boris Johnson, is urging all Londoners to fill out and return their Census forms by March 27, Census Day.
More than a quarter of public spending in London - £19.3 billion - is dependent on population figures, such as the Census, which are used to allocate funding for essential services ranging from the NHS through to transport.
The mayor of London's office says the cost of not filling in a form is an estimated £600 for each Londoner, meaning a borough could miss out on £600 of funding for services for every single person that doesn’t return a form.
