LEYTON: Severe delays on Central Line as it reopens following earlier fire alert
COMMUTERS and Olympic spectators face severe delays on the Central Line as it reopens following an earlier fire alert at Leyton Underground Station.
The Central Line was closed between Woodford and Liverpool Street, but has now reopened in both directions.
The line was closed when a driver reported smelling smoke from a train at the station, but no fire was found.
