REHEARSALS are underway as a local theatre company prepares to revive a classic pantomime.
The Woodford Pantomime has been an annual fixture at Sir James Hawkey Hall in Woodford Green for 50 years, and for the 51st performance members of the company have chosen to stage Peter Pan.
It is 10 years since the classic tale was last performed and the newest incarnation promises to be one of the company’s most spectacular productions yet.
The cast has been rehearsing since September for the show which will see the hall transformed into a theatre with tiered seating and lights.
The pantomime will run from January 2-January 15. Tickets are on sale now at £12.50 or £7 for Thursday performances.

All proceeds will go to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
